Ozomatli Concert @ The Water Court

Went to the very first free outdoor summer concert series downtown at the Calif.Plaza Watercourt. Ozomatli was jamm'in but even more so were the crowd! It was a full house and then some! I just found out recently its normal full capacity of 6500 was at 15,000! I was off by 5000.
I never knew so many people could even fit into that size area. It was a blast and everyone was in their own groove. It was funny and i knew it was probably gonna happen, knowing how people can get carried away alittle...

It started out with a couple of girls going out into the pond in front of where the band was set up. The singer even went in for a quick second but once he did that...everyone started to pour into the water! It looked like fun too! Unfortunately someone got on the mike and mentioned how it could do serious damage to the membrane under the pond.

Hopefully everything is cool! I look foward to the next venue and to exploring different styles and blends of music..liking it or not thats ok with me, i'll be there just to enjoy the ambience. I signed up for a volunteer position in the info. booth so maybe i can be some help somehow. Hey, its all good! I took a few pix but they were too blurry to post here,oh well.
I am curious though to see if it gets as crowed with any other performers. we'll see...
