Full Moon@G. Park

This photo was taken in Greece . I was seeing it now while overlooking the Observatory in Los Angeles...awesome Moon anywhere you see it on this planet. (click greece for info.)

Went up the other night to see the moon from Mount Hollywood's lookout point. This is where you would want to hike up to if you ever wanted to see a great view of everything!

Its been awhile since i went up and as i was just sitting around here at home i decided to get out and do something interesting and phyical. It turns out the gates at the main entrance going up into the park to the Observatory were already closed, so i parked at the bottom and walked all the way up til i got this crazy notion to climb straight up the hillside as a short cut. I knew there was a trail there somewhere.

I had my lil pup with me so we went for it not knowing how it was gonna be since everything was now overgrown and the way up was not as easy to follow. Well, we made it up then more to climb toward the very top. Once there it was great! Some folks were there on horse back having a lil get together and there was a nice couple just enjoying their time together. We would later walk back down together. Raul and Milanna were nice people to meet and talk to. (hope i got your name right) So overall, it was an enjoyable evening and my lil one always happy to go up with me.

As for The Observatory? Its been closed for some time now and i'm still waiting for its re-opening! From what i know, it should be soon but not likely as planned...but soon.
