Boring Christmas? Not!

Nothing to do, the truck is down for the weekend having it's carburetor rebuilt. Just hanging around the house, just me and mom with nothing to do! So i tell moms, yeah i got a idea! Lets take a bus trip down to Fairfax and Beverly and walk around at the Grove!! Man, i haven't been on a bus in a long time so i had to look up the route to get there and back. I didn't even know how much it cost! So off we go...walking to the bus stop to catch a bus.

I brought my lil radio along for some walking Christmas music and my camera. We got there around 7 pm and it was busy with families and children, so the atmosphere was alive! At 8 we walked over to this area where snow machines would be cranking it out over all our heads. That was fun! It wasn't real snow, it was some sudsy stuff. It really looked cool coming down. We watched the Great Fountains dance to the Christmas music and the hugh koi twice as big as my 13" ones. I felt a lil "Koi" envy there for a second! (hehe) Later, we walked back to the stop, caught our bus which happened to drop us off in front of my favorite burger joint...TOMMYS! So you know we just had to have one for the road!!

Well, Moms was a happy camper is all i can say. She really enjoyed the adventure and lights and all as did i of course! Think i'll do that again with her even if the truck is back on the road...yeah right! (we'll see, i wouldn't mind!)
