Bumped and Bruised...I'll Live!

My first run in with a moving car on the street leaves this lucky guy slightly bumped,bruised and sprained. Lucky? You better believe it!! I took a good tumble but was able to get right up, dust myself off and basically continue on my way. The bike didn't suffer any damage other than just the chain falling off.

Later my wrist began to swell up, my fingers move ok but my thumb area is stiff and hurting so i got it all on ice and as you can see in a sling. I'm feeling sore here and there but thats about right concidering. I was moving at a moderate slow speed probably around 5-7 mph. A car quickly passed me up then made a quick right turn right in front of me as i came to the street corner. I thought he was going straight till he made that turn. I hit the brakes but still slid into the rear side/bumper area. My front wheel turned with the car and i continued moving forward then hit the street rolling. I really got off easy if you ask me! It could have been so much worst!!!! Lucky me!
