Concert In The Park

Echo Park's first annual "Echo Concert" or something was one that was so sickly put together!
I mean there were probably 5 to 8 folding chairs loosely scattered around the front area of the stage. Whats up with that? You couldn't imagine such a badly done set up that was so unjust to these really good bands who put alot into their music only to see no one really around other than a few of the curious...like myself. At least the stage was done ok.
I grabbed a front row seat and made myself comfortable and got into the groove of one band called The Atomic Sheapas. They were really good as far as i'm concerned and i really was digging their style. Vince was the Sax man and vocals and did some blues harp licks too! It was great! I left after that but these other bands played all day long on Saturday and Sunday the day i caught them while riding passed on my bike through the park on such a nice sunny day. I really wanted to return later but had stuff to do so that took care of that! Anywayz...Next year it should be more organized. It Better Be is all i can say otherwise its a waste of many band's unheard talent and time!!
